I’m reminded

I’m reminded by our Congress that Social Security is an entitlement. I am insulted by their cold, callous remarks. Our government leaders have destroyed the hopes of future generations of retiring. Our government took (what was once a solvent Social Security system) to pay for other programs. They borrowed 3 trillion dollars from our social security during the past 30 years. And they never paid any of it back. They robbed us blind. We the people should put these corrupt individuals on trial. Oh, I forgot, they are our leaders, and are above reproach. They can do as they please without repercussions. Our elected officials tell us that SS are entitlements. Entitlement” refers to a notion or belief that one (or oneself) is deserving of some particular reward or benefit. So after a lifetime of putting money into SS you call it entitlement. Do you think we were born yesterday! You should be ashamed of yourselves. You call yourselves leaders. We, the American people are ashamed of you! You have become a modern day mafia, self serving, and corrupt. You are more interested in pleasing your wealthy constituents than doing what is right.
